Northland Women's Basketball secured their second win in a row on Saturday afternoon with a victory over Oak Hills Christian College 83-64.

The Northland College Women's Basketball team was back in action on Saturday afternoon at the Kendrigan Center for a non-conference game with Oak Hills Christian College. The LumberJills used a big second quarter to pull away from the Wolfpack for a 83-64 victory, their second of the week.Â
After a narrow lead in the first period, Northland was able to out-score Oak Hills 21-12 in the second quarter to jump out to the double-digit lead.
Alex Espinoza hit a free throw with 2:28 left in the first to give the Jills the lead. They never relinquished the lead the rest of the game. Espinoza finished with a game-high 21 points in the contest, to go along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Overall, the LumberJills finished with five players who scored in double-digits. Kodie Remp hit five three-pointers to finish with 19 points. She, also, chipped in 10 rebounds for the double-double.Â
Ashley Lopez added 18 points, while
Miranda Wagner contributed 10 points and 14 boards.
Bailey Wynn came off the bench to add 12 points and seven rebounds.Â
Northland (2-4, 0-0 UMAC) will be on the road next week to open conference play. Friday the LumberJills will take on Martin Luther before heading to Bethany Lutheran on Saturday.
