The Northland College Men's Basketball team returned to the Kendrigan Center on Sunday afternoon for another non-conference contest, their third of the opening week. The LumberJacks played host to Finlandia University and jumped out to a seventeen point halftime lead enroute to an 89-75 victory.
Jordan Brennan led all scorers with 25 points in the game. The senior guard shot 14-for-16 from the free throw line to accumulate a majority of his points. The LumberJacks, as a whole, attempted 48 free throws in the game, converting 35 of those attempts into points.

Kevon Powell added 10 points off the bench to continue a strong start of bench scoring for the Jacks in the opening three games. A large rebounding advantage for Northland, especially on the offensive side, helped Northland amass their lead and earn victory number one.
