Volleyball Dominates To Open Final Weekend

Northland Volleyball secured the win in straight sets against Crown on the road.

The Northland Volleyball team began their final road trip of the regular season in dominate fashion on Friday night, as they beat Crown College 25-16, 25-14 and 25-10. The victory marked their second straight-set win against Crown of the season and their fourth overall. 

Northland tallied 40 kills in the match, hitting .323 against the host Polars. Bailey Wynn (14), Larissa Fossum (11) and Shelby Justman (6) led the team in the category. Rachel Callow, again, led the team with 23 assists, while Fossum completed the double-double with 10 digs to, also, lead the team. Elizabeth Montgomery added two blocks on the night. 

The LumberJills wrap up the regular season on Saturday at UM-Morris. First serve is scheduled for 11:00 AM.
