Superior, WI - The Jills jumped out to an early lead on Monday afternoon but it wasn't enough as the UW-Superior YellowJackets used four goals in the second period to advance to the next round of the WIAC tournament with a 6-2 win.  

Mahteya Dumelie scored early on in the first period off an assist from Karadyn Kiviaho.  The YellowJackets found the back of the net five minutes later before the game would enter the second period even at 1-1.   The YellowJackets used three goals in a short span eight minutes into the period before adding one more late to take a 5-1 lead entering the third.  Kiviaho got on the score sheet again as she opened the scoring in the third period, but the YellowJackets added one more late to put the game away.
