Ashland, WI - The Northland College LumberJills took on the St. Olaf Oles for the second game of their weekend set on Saturday afternoon. The Jills jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but the Oles came storming back to pick up their second win in as many days, ultimately beating the Jills by a score of 4-3.
Taylor Richmond and Megan Adair scored for the Jills in the first period to give them a 2-0 lead. The Oles responded with four goals in the second period to give them a 4-2 lead. Karadyn Kiviaho got one back for the Jills late in the third period with seconds remaining, but it wasn't enough as the Oles were able to leave Ashland with the 4-3 win.
The Jills are now 0-4 in the WIAC and 1-11-1 overall.
The Jills are off until January 7th when they host Aurora University.
