ASHLAND, Wis.--- The Northland College Volleyball team continued UMAC action this afternoon as they hosted Bethany Lutheran College at the Chapple Family Gymnasium. After winning the 4th set, 25-19 to force a 5th set, the Jills would roll to a 15-12 set win to take the match 3-2 over the Vikings.

After dropping the first set, 25-16 to the Vikings, the Jills would edge out the win in the second set 25-23 in dramatic fashion, winning the last three points of the set. Bethany would flex their muscles in the 3rd, winning 25-19 but it was all LumberJills in the 4th set, closing it out with 7 out of the 8 points to win the set 25-19 and force a 5th set. In the 5th, it was the LumberJills who took control and went on to close it out, winning 15-12 and the match 3-2. 

Elizabeth Montgomery led all LumberJills in kills with 17. Alexa Zadra, who played tremendous for the Jills defensively, led the team with 35 digs. Makenna Nelson would collect 41 assists in the game. 

The Jills will get some rest to prepare for their next match as they continue UMAC action next Friday in Minneapolis, MN vs. North Central MN. Game time is set to start at 7pm.
