Ashland, WI – The Northland College Lumberjacks showed a lot of fight against the Crown Storm on Saturday evening, but ultimately it wasn't enough as the Storm rallied in the second half and picked up the 86-76 win.
Senior Benny Larry Jr. scored a team high 15 points for the Jacks.
Ryan Rawlings led the team with 16 points and
Max May added 14 points and three assists.
The Jacks shot well offensively throughout the evening as they hit 40 percent of their three pointers and shot 44 percent overall.
The Jacks were much improved from the first time these two teams met as they took a lead into halftime against the Storm, but the Storm outscored the Jacks down the stretch in the second half to take the win and finish their UMAC season at 8-8.
The Jacks will look to build with their young squad for next season, while the senior heavy Storm head to the UMAC post season.
