Ashland, WI – The Northland College Lumberjacks exploded for 101 points on Thursday afternoon and cruised past the Finlandia University Lions by a score of 101-66. The win improves the Lumberjacks record to 4-8 while the Lions are now 0-13.
Devyn Frye led the Jacks with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Frye was efficient and effective all evening as he shot 7-13 from the field and 3-6 from three point range.
Harley Shear added 16 points for the Jacks and five assists, and
Hunter Moe had 13 points on 6-9 shooting.
The Jacks didn't make life easy for the Lions by forcing the Lions into a lot of contested shots. For the game, the Lions shot 32 percent from the field and 17 percent from three point range.
The Jacks are in action next when they travel to North Dakota State University. Tip-off is January 5
th at 2:00pm.
