The Jills hosted the North Central University Rams tonight at the Chapple Family Gymnasium for an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference contest.
The Jills fell behind early as the Rams would start the game on a 13-0 run. The Jills offense would start to click in the second as they chipped away at the Rams lead to get to within four. The Rams would continue to hit their shots, but the Jills would be able to match them. The Jills would go into halftime down 37-29.
The Rams struck first to start the second half. The Jills would continue to try to gain ground on the Rams lead, but the Rams would be able to match them. The Jills would fall by a final score of 77-58.
Ashton Meadows led the Jills with 17 points, while
Katherine Taylor recorded 16. Taylor grabbed 5 rebounds, while
Sarah Houle and
Bryza Pizano each had 4.
The Jills will be back on the court 1/12 at home against the University of Minnesota Morris. Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm.
