Jacks Come Up Short on the Road

Mankato, MN -

The Jacks traveled to Bethany Lutheran College tonight for an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference contest against the Vikings.

The Jacks got on board first to start the half. The Vikings jumped out to a nine point lead early and would eventually build their lead to fifteen. The Jacks would start to find their rhythm late in the half, rallying back to cut down the Vikings' lead to three. The Vikings would continue to make their shots and begin to pull away again late in the half. The Jacks would go into halftime down 47-33.

The Vikings added to their lead to start off the second half. The teams would trade shots with one another, but the Vikings would be able to keep their distance. The Jacks would battle their way back to get to within seven. However, it would be too late as the Jacks would fall by a final score of 93-85.

Modesta Britten led the Jacks with 31 points, while Benjamin Arqueros added 19. Britten also grabbed a team high 9 rebounds, while Hunter Moe recorded 7.

The Jacks will be back in action 2/2 at the University of Northwestern (MN). Tip-off is set for 5pm.
