The Jacks hosted Upper Midwest Athletic Conference opponent the University of Minnesota Morris Cougars tonight at the Chapple Family Gymnasium. The game was also highlighted as the UMAC Game of the Week.

The Jacks came out ready to go as they started the game on a 16-0 run, holding the Cougars scoreless for the first five minutes of the game. The Cougars would eventually chip away at the Jacks' lead, but the Jacks would continue to hit their shots and keep their distance from the Cougars. A rally by the Cougars late in the half would get to within seven of the Jacks. The Jacks would go into halftime up 36-29.

The Jacks scored first to start the second half, widening their lead over the Cougars. However, the Cougars would rally back, tying the game up at 44-44. The Jacks would continue to put up shots and keep their lead over the Cougars. The Cougars once again battled their way back to get to within two of the Jacks, but it wouldn't be enough. The Jacks wouldn't lose their lead. They would go on to win by a final score of 84-73.

Benjamin Arqueros led the Jacks with a team high 26 points, while
Brandon Galland added 19. Galland also grabbed a team high 6 rebounds, while
Hunter Moe finished with 5.

The Jacks will be back on the court 1/16 at The College of St. Scholastica. The game is set to begin at 7:30pm.
