Joe Joran was an outstanding student/athlete at Northland College. While regularly making the Dean's List he earned more varsity letters (12) than any other student. He played football for all four years and was named to the All-District Football team twice. He played basketball for four years, played tennis for one year, and baseball for three years. He was named to the All-District Baseball Team for two years. He was named the Best All Around Athlete at Northland College. Joe earned the George Barr Award and the Wallace C. Hitchcock Award. He was named an Outstanding College Athlete in America.
Joe earned a Master's Degree from the University of North Dakota in 1982. He has been a coach and teacher at Apple Valley High School and is presently a Business Education Instructor, Assistant Varsity Football Coach, Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach and Head Varsity Girl's Golf Coach at Eagan High School in Eagan, Minnesota.
