Northland College Athletics

Che's excellence as a Northland College athlete is apparent as a member of the men's basketball team. Che lettered in basketball all four seasons he played (1988-1992). He was named to the All-District team in 1991 and 1992, named National Small College All-American in 1991, and NSCAA All-American in '92. Che also received numerous honors during his Northland basketball tenure including quad-captain of the 91-92 team, Most Improved Player in 1990, and Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1992. Che graduated from Northland College with a B.A. in history and minor in coaching. Following Northland, Che attended UW-Eau Claire graduating with an M.A. in history. Today Che is working as an Internal Securities Investigator for the Office of the Inspector General for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
